This is perhaps the most vulnerable song on the album. it represents the dissonant feelings when giving into hope seems almost like a defeat. When wanting to be and feel better is complicated by The twisted attachment you’ve developed with pain, nihilism, and regret. you begin to let the wound heal over and accept that life can be good again despite what you’ve lost.
